I have always been the student that asks a great deal of! I can remember this being the thing that for a very long time used to make me feel somewhat self-conscious in courses, and now after experiencing a number of rounds of examination periods I have seen numerous benefits of asking all those concerns! I really feel that due to it I will certainly have a good empathy with my tutees, and also hope that I could give a comfortable space where they really feel able to ask me anything. Additionally, due to this I am now more familiar with ways to give good answers!
I could remember really beginning to enjoy maths when I began to see links between various topics in the subject. Until then I had always enjoyed the satisfaction I had felt through fixing issues and also finding the right response, but had actually seen the topics as extremely singular and distinctive. Later on I got a far better recognition of the skills that I had been finding out as tools to deal with more complex problems, and a fantastic wish to continue to add to my 'tool kit' of mathematical knowledge!
